How a Repair Visit Works
What to know about Electrolux ovens
Electrolux wall ovens include single, double and microwave combination units, typically with convection and some with air fry or steam-assisted cooking. Failures we see include a hidden bake element that has burned out beneath the oven floor, a convection fan that grinds, temperature sensors that read wrong, cooling fans that stop and touch controls that become unresponsive. Because hidden elements sit under the floor panel, a dead bake circuit is not always obvious from inside. We read the control's fault data, test the elements and fans, and give one price for the repair.
TrueFix Las Vegas is an independent repair company, not affiliated with Electrolux. If this oven is still under its factory warranty, contact Electrolux first.
Where Electrolux ovens usually fail
- Hidden bake element fails beneath the oven floor panel
- Convection fan motor grinds or stops during baking
- Cooling fan fails and the control panel overheats
- Touch controls become unresponsive or beep without input
- Temperature sensor drifts and baking results become uneven

Repairing Electrolux ovens in the Las Vegas Valley
Electrolux wall ovens come as single and double units and as combinations with a microwave or speed oven on top. Many include Perfect Convect, an air-fry or steam-assisted mode, and a hidden bake element under a smooth floor. Glass touch controls replace knobs on most models, and the cavity light, fan and lock are all run from the same electronic control.
Because these ovens are built into cabinetry, the cavity is surrounded by insulation and tightly fitted trim. The electronics sit above or behind the cavity and rely on a cooling fan to survive. That arrangement makes a cooling fan or vent fault more serious than it sounds, and it shapes how we approach the repair.
Convection and the hidden element
Perfect Convect uses a third element around the rear fan to heat air evenly. When the fan slows, results drift: one side of a sheet pan browns, cookies spread oddly, or roasting takes longer. If the element fails, convection modes stop heating while bake still works.
The hidden bake element under the floor heats the cavity from below. It cannot be seen, so a failed one shows up only as poor bottom browning and slow preheats.
Why the cooling fan matters
Electrolux wall ovens move air across the control area to keep it cool. If that fan fails, the oven may shut down, display an error, or keep running the fan long after cooking. Heat damage to the board can follow. We treat a noisy or silent cooling fan as a priority.
Checks you can do
Use an oven thermometer to compare actual temperature with the set point. Try bake, broil and convection separately and note which ones work. Watch whether the rear fan turns when convection is selected.
Do not remove the oven from its cabinet yourself. Wall ovens are heavy and hardwired, and they hang on mounting screws that hold their weight.
The repair visit and your options
We test elements, sensors, fan motors and relays, then decide whether the oven needs to come forward. If it does, we support it properly and protect the cabinet face.
Most repairs are worth it on an Electrolux wall oven, partly because replacing a built-in unit usually means finding one that fits the same cutout. You get one price for parts and labor before work.
Self-clean and the stress it puts on parts
Self-clean runs the cavity far hotter than any baking cycle. On wall ovens, that heat stresses the door lock, the cooling fan and the control. Wiping spills regularly and using self-clean sparingly helps the electronics last.

Electrolux ovens often hide the bake element beneath the floor panel, so you cannot see it glow. If broil works but bake does not, that hidden element or its connections are a likely cause. A temperature sensor or control relay can also be at fault, which we test before ordering parts.
The cooling fan protects the controls by running until the oven cools. On a hot day it may run for a while. If it never stops or runs when the oven hasn't been used, a stuck temperature switch or control fault is likely and worth checking.
Yes. The oven and microwave sections are separate systems in one cabinet. Many oven repairs are done in place, while microwave work may require removing the combination unit from the wall. We check the installation and explain what removal involves before starting.
Random beeping or phantom inputs suggest a failing touch panel or moisture behind it. Turn off power at the breaker when not in use, since a misreading panel could switch on the oven unexpectedly. Book a diagnosis to determine whether the panel or the control board needs replacing.
It is Electrolux's convection system using a rear fan and its own element to circulate heated air. If convection modes preheat slowly, bake unevenly, or the fan is noisy or silent, it may have failed. Regular bake usually still works, which is a useful clue for diagnosis.
Usually, yes. In a double wall oven, each cavity has its own elements and sensor, though they share a control. If only one cavity has failed and the other heats normally, you can use it until the repair. If the control itself is failing, both may be affected.
Long or high-temperature cooking heats the control area. If the cooling fan is weak, the control can overheat and throw an error to protect itself. Self-clean cycles are a common trigger. We test the fan and its airflow path, along with the sensor that triggered the alert.
Generally not. Air fry modes use the convection fan and element at high output. If air fry results have changed, check the convection system first. Using the dedicated air fry tray and arranging food in a single layer also makes a large difference.
We switch off the breaker, remove the trim screws holding the oven to the cabinet, then slide it forward onto a support so the wiring can be reached. Double ovens are heavy and need two people. We reinstall it level, secure it, and check that all functions work.
