We cover 15 ZIP codes in Enterprise, Spring Valley, Paradise and southern Henderson.
It might be, but clicking and warmth are also what you see when the inverter board or a start component fails, or when a fan stops. We measure what the compressor is being told to do and what it is actually doing before calling it. If it really is the compressor, you get a sealed-system quote and an honest view on whether it is worth it.
OE points to drainage, so the filter, hose and pump come first. UE means the washer could not balance the load, which can be the load itself or worn suspension. IE is a fill problem, often scaled inlet screens or a weak valve. The code tells us where to start; meter tests on the parts involved tell us what to replace.
Rarely, in our experience. When it lights up, the exhaust path is usually restricted somewhere between the back of the dryer and the outside hood. Clearing it improves drying time and takes stress off the thermal fuse and heater. If the vent checks out clean, we test the sensor circuit itself.
Yes. LG Studio products are built-in versions of LG engineering, so diagnosis follows the same logic as the standard line. A wall oven sometimes has to be slid out of its cabinet to reach the parts, and we protect the trim and cabinet face while doing it.
You can, but the code will likely return. AE means water has collected in the base pan and tripped the leak sensor. The real fix is finding the source, which might be a door seal, a loose hose, the sump or simply oversudsing from the wrong detergent. We pull the lower panel and trace the leak before resetting anything.
No. TrueFix Las Vegas is an independent repair company with no affiliation to LG. If your LG is still under the manufacturer's warranty, contact LG first, because work by an independent shop may not be covered by that warranty. Once it is out of warranty, or if the warranty route does not work for you, we are glad to take a look.
Servicing LG in the Las Vegas Valley
LG Electronics is a South Korean manufacturer, and its French door refrigerators and front-load laundry pairs are some of the most common appliances in valley homes built or remodeled in the last two decades. Above the everyday line, LG Studio and LG Signature cover built-in and premium kitchens, mostly in custom homes and higher-end condos.
LG appliance repair calls lean on a few engineering choices the brand made early: linear and inverter compressors in refrigerators, direct-drive motors in washers, and airflow monitoring in dryers. Those designs remove some classic failure points, like belts, and add others. Knowing which parts each design leaves out, and which it adds, keeps a diagnosis short and the quote accurate.
How LG engineering changes the diagnosis
A front-load LG washer has its motor rotor bolted straight to the back of the tub. There is no belt or transmission to wear, so a washer that will not spin points to the motor, its hall sensor, the door lock or drainage instead. An LG refrigerator that warms up may have a compressor problem, but it can just as easily have an iced evaporator or a stalled fan, and each gets a different repair.
We read the code, then test the specific circuit. Compressor complaints get temperature readings at several points and a check of what the inverter board is doing, because a failing board can make a healthy compressor look dead.
LG repairs across the house
In the kitchen we handle French door and side-by-side refrigerators, including door ice makers that ice up and jam, freezer drawers that frost from defrost or gasket faults, and the occasional upright or convertible freezer. Dishwashers with QuadWash arms and TrueSteam usually come in with OE, IE or AE codes.
Cooking calls cover gas, electric, induction and dual-fuel ranges with ProBake convection, LG and LG Studio wall ovens, gas stoves with sealed burners, cooktops, and over-the-range microwaves that double as the hood. In the laundry room it is direct-drive washers, plus gas and electric dryers that flag restricted venting.
What an LG owner can look at first
Dryer showing a Flow Sense warning? Take it seriously. Pull the dryer forward a few inches and look for a crushed foil duct, then check that the outside flap opens while it runs. Long runs through a hot garage wall or up into an attic clog faster than most people expect.
For an OE code on the washer, clear the drain pump filter behind the lower front panel and check the hose for kinks. On a refrigerator, confirm the vents inside are not blocked by food and that the condenser area at the bottom is not choked with dust. Turn off the water supply to any appliance that is actively leaking.
LG repair or a new appliance?
LG sits in the mainstream to upper-mid tier, and most faults we find are pumps, door locks, valves, fans, sensors and boards. Those make sense to fix in nearly every case. A linear compressor replacement involves sealed-system work, which costs more and depends on the age of the refrigerator and the condition of everything else.
We lay out the numbers after testing. If the refrigerator is otherwise in good shape and fits a cabinet opening that a new model might not, repair often wins even on bigger jobs.
