If ice returns very quickly or cooling stays weak after defrosting, a door seal, thermostat or start relay may need testing.
If it is a thermoelectric model, it may simply be at its limit. These coolers can only cool a certain amount below room temperature, so in a hot room they cannot reach cellar settings. Yes. Older Avanti gas ranges may use a standing pilot rather than electronic ignition. Pilots go out from drafts, dirt or a worn thermocouple. We clean and adjust the pilot, test the safety components and check for gas leaks. If you smell gas, leave the area and call the gas utility first.
Maybe, but first make sure the drain hose is not kinked and its end is not sitting under water in the sink. If it still won't drain, the small drain pump may be clogged with lint or small items. We check the hose, pump and any filter, and confirm the lid switch is not stopping the spin.
It depends on the fault. A door switch and fuse are modest repairs. A magnetron or high-voltage component on a small countertop model can cost close to a new microwave, and we will tell you so. These parts hold a dangerous charge, so please do not open the case yourself.
