How a Repair Visit Works
What to know about Blomberg ranges
Blomberg ranges come in 24- and 30-inch widths with gas, electric or induction cooktops and convection ovens below. A full range repair looks at both halves: flame-safety thermocouples and spark ignition on gas tops, induction boards on induction models, and the oven's elements, convection fan and temperature probe. Electronic controls and clocks can stop responding after power interruptions, which happen during summer storms. Because Blomberg parts are less common than mainstream brands, we confirm the model and part numbers during the visit and quote with lead times before ordering.
TrueFix Las Vegas is an independent repair company, not affiliated with Blomberg. If this range is still under its factory warranty, contact Blomberg first.
Where Blomberg ranges usually fail
- Oven convection fan fails while cooktop still works
- Electronic clock or control resets after power outages
- Gas range thermocouple wears and burners will not stay lit
- Induction range board fails and several zones go dead
- Oven temperature probe fault causes heating errors

Repairing Blomberg ranges in the Las Vegas Valley
A Blomberg range combines a compact cooktop and a European-style convection oven in one freestanding cabinet. Gas, electric and induction versions are available, and some gas models use an electric oven. That mix means the cooktop and oven can fail for different reasons, or a shared control can affect both.
We start by asking which half is acting up and what changed recently, such as a power outage, cleaning or a move. Then we test the cooktop parts, the oven elements or burner, the convection fan and the control, and quote once we know which part failed and how long it will take to arrive.
One cabinet, two systems
On a gas Blomberg range, the cooktop uses thermocouples and spark ignition, while the oven may be gas with its own igniter and safety valve or electric with bake, broil and convection elements. On an induction range, a power board drives the cooktop and the oven runs on its own elements and sensor.
When both halves fail at once, we check the power supply, terminal block and main control first. When only one half fails, we focus on that side's parts.
Gas Blomberg ranges also need a standard outlet for the spark system and oven controls, so a tripped kitchen GFCI can leave a gas range with no ignition and a dark display even though gas is present. We check that early, because it is the cheapest possible fix.
What to check on a Blomberg range
Confirm the breaker is fully on and the gas valve is open. Check the oven mode and temperature settings. Clean the burner caps and dry them fully if a burner will not light. If a gas oven smells of gas or the flame looks unusual, turn it off and call for service.
Moving and leveling a Blomberg range
Repairs on the back panel, gas connection or wiring require pulling the range forward. Compact ranges are lighter than full-size units but still heavy enough to scratch floors. We protect the floor, disconnect power and gas safely, then reinstall the anti-tip bracket and level the range before testing.
Leveling matters for even baking and for keeping pans steady on the cooktop.
Induction Blomberg ranges
Induction ranges add a power board and cooling fan below the cooktop. If the oven works but several zones go dead, the board is the likely cause. If zones cut out during long cooking, the fan or airflow path may be failing. We check both before recommending a board.
Repair cost and parts lead times
We almost always recommend fixing thermocouples, igniters, elements, sensors and fans on a Blomberg range. Controls and induction boards cost more and can take longer to arrive. We give a lead time with the quote, so you can plan around it.

Many Blomberg ovens require the clock to be set after a power interruption before they will heat. Set the time and try again. If the display is blank or flickering, or the controls will not respond after setting the clock, the control board or its power supply may be faulty.
Monsoon season can bring power flickers and outages, and electronic controls on any range can be affected. A surge protector is not practical on a 240-volt range, but a whole-home surge protector installed by an electrician can help. If controls fail after a storm, we test the board and power supply.
Common parts may be available quickly, while others ship from a distributor and take longer. We confirm the exact part number during diagnosis and give you the lead time with the quote. If the range is partly usable, we tell you what is safe to use while you wait.
Yes. We diagnose both sections in one visit and quote everything needed together. If the oven and a burner both have problems, combining the repairs avoids a second trip. Mention all symptoms when booking, including any error shown on the display, so we can plan the visit.
A weak bake element, a slow gas igniter or a temperature sensor that is reading high can all lengthen preheat. Convection fans that stop can also make the oven heat unevenly. We test each part to find the cause rather than adjusting the temperature setting.
The gas burners on many dual-fuel or gas ranges can be lit with a match during a power outage, but the electric oven will not work, and the electronic ignition will not spark. Follow the manual's instructions for lighting burners manually and never leave them unattended.
A soft clicking can be normal as relays cycle the elements. On gas ovens, repeated clicking may mean the igniter is trying to relight a burner. A constant loud click with no heat suggests an ignition or control fault that should be checked.
Electric and induction ranges require a dedicated 240-volt circuit sized for the unit. Gas ranges need a standard outlet for the controls and ignition. An undersized circuit or a shared outlet can cause resets or failures, which we can check during a visit.
The drawer sits directly below the oven floor, so some warmth during baking is normal, and it is not a place for plastic containers or anything that can melt. If the drawer becomes much hotter than it used to, or the outside of the range near it feels hot, the oven insulation or a lower heating part may need checking.
