How a Repair Visit Works
What to know about Bosch dishwashers
Bosch dishwashers are built-in units with a stainless tub, known for quiet operation, and the 800 and Benchmark lines add CrystalDry for better drying. The most common service codes relate to drainage and leak protection. E24 and E25 point toward a blocked drain path or drain pump, and E15 means water has reached the base and tripped the float switch. Valley hard water also leaves scale that affects heating and the spray arms. On the visit we check the filter, pump, sump and hoses, find the source of any leak, and test the heater and circulation pump.
TrueFix Las Vegas is an independent repair company, not affiliated with Bosch. If this dishwasher is still under its factory warranty, contact Bosch first.

Repairing Bosch dishwashers in the Las Vegas Valley
Bosch is the dishwasher brand we work on most, across the 100, 300, 500, 800 and Benchmark Series. They share a design: a stainless tub, a sealed sump at the bottom, a self-contained base pan with leak protection and a heating system tuned for quiet running. That shared design makes diagnosis faster once you know where each part lives.
Valley water is hard, and a Bosch is sensitive to scale on its heater, flow meter and spray arms. Many of the wash and drying complaints we hear trace back to minerals, detergent choice or an empty rinse aid dispenser rather than a broken part, so we sort those out before recommending any repair.
Why Bosch dishes come out wet
Older and lower-series Bosch models dry by condensation, letting moisture settle on the cool stainless tub. That is quieter and more efficient but leaves plastics damp. The 800 and Benchmark lines add CrystalDry, which uses a mineral in the door to absorb moisture and release heat.
If drying got worse suddenly, check rinse aid first. A Bosch relies on it more than many brands, and an empty dispenser alone can leave glasses beaded with water.
Leak protection and the base pan
Under the tub is a plastic pan with a float. Any water that escapes the tub lands there, lifts the float and stops the dishwasher before the floor gets wet. The machine then runs its drain pump to protect the cabinet. The underlying leak might be a cracked hose, a seeping sump seal or simply sudsy dish soap.
The useful job is finding where the water came from, not just drying the pan. We look for mineral trails, check every hose clamp and run a test fill with the toe kick off.
What owners can safely check
Turn the dishwasher off at the breaker or switch, lift out the cylindrical filter at the bottom, and rinse it under the tap. Check that the spray arms spin freely and that their holes are open. Confirm the drain hose under the sink has a high loop and is not kinked by stored items.
Do not tilt the dishwasher to drain the base pan unless it is unplugged and the water is off. Never run a cycle with the filter removed.
Repair or replace a Bosch dishwasher
Drain pumps, circulation pumps, heaters, door latches, flow meters and control boards are standard Bosch repairs, and the tub itself almost never fails. On a 500 Series or above, repair is usually the better value for many years.
A 100 Series unit with a failed circulation pump and heavy scale is where we compare the numbers with you, since a new entry-level model costs less than a top-series repair.

We cover 15 ZIP codes in Enterprise, Spring Valley, Paradise and southern Henderson.
Turn off power, remove the bottom rack, and twist out the filter assembly. Clean it under running water. Then remove the small cover under the filter to check the drain pump impeller for glass, seeds or plastic. Check the drain hose under the sink for kinks or a clogged disposal connection. If the error returns, call us.
E15 means the leak protection system found water in the base. Turn off power and water. Some people tilt the dishwasher to drain the base, but the leak source still needs to be found, whether that is a hose, door seal, sump or suds from the wrong detergent. We locate and fix the source, then dry and reset the system.
Bosch dishwashers largely dry by condensation, so plastics in particular may stay damp. Rinse aid makes a big difference, so keep it filled. Using the extra dry option helps, and opening the door slightly after the cycle lets steam escape. If metal and glass items are also wet, the heater or water temperature may need checking.
Yes, periodically. Hard valley water leaves mineral deposits on the heater, spray arms and tub. A dishwasher cleaner or descaler every month or two helps, along with rinse aid. Some Bosch models have a water softener system, and those need the correct salt and hardness setting. We can check the settings during a visit.
Either works, but pick a product rated for hard water and keep rinse aid filled. Pods with built-in rinse aid still benefit from the dispenser. If you see white film, try a dishwasher cleaner monthly. Too much powder or a pod that does not dissolve can leave grit on the filter.
A Bosch is quiet, and a low hum while it drains or fills is normal. If the hum continues without water moving, the drain pump may be jammed by glass or a seed, or the circulation pump may be stalled. Turn it off and check the filter and sump area for debris.
Many Bosch models project a small light called InfoLight onto the floor while running. It is a status light, not an error. If it stays on long after the cycle should end, the dishwasher may be stuck in a long drying phase or holding a fault, and the cycle should be checked.
Use rinse aid, choose a hard-water detergent and run a descaling product every month or two. Running hot water at the sink before starting helps the first fill. If heavy scale is already on the heater, cleaning products alone may not clear it, and the heater or spray arm may need attention.
Yes. The latch is accessed from inside the door by removing the inner panel screws. If the latch failed because the door no longer lines up, the dishwasher may need its mounting brackets or leveling adjusted too, which can mean loosening it from the countertop briefly.
